Annie Bryan

Associate

Annie was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of Queensland in December 2016. Prior to her admission, she worked as an Associate to the Honourable Justice Kent KC of the Full Court of the Family Court of Australia.

Following her admission, Annie gained experience at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), where she worked as a Legal Officer for a number of years, often appearing for the Prosecution in both the Magistrates and District Court.

In 2021, Annie left the ODPP and began working in criminal defence. She joined Gilshenan & Luton as an Associate in 2024 after returning to Brisbane following a brief stint working in London.

Annie has extensive experience in representing clients charged with a wide variety of offences, including:

  • minor traffic offences;
  • fraud;
  • property offences;
  • offences of violence;
  • sexual offences;
  • drug trafficking; and
  • murder

Annie is a keen advocate; often appearing in the Magistrates, District & Supreme Courts for pleas, sentences, directions hearings and committal hearings, and applications including Supreme Court bail applications. She is committed to maintaining strong client relationships and aims to always achieve the best outcome for her clients.

Outside of work, Annie enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as travelling.
