Ben joined Gilshenan & Luton in 2025. Ben has an interest in everything advocacy, with a liking for employment law.

Prior to joining the firm, Ben was an associate at the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission. During his time there, he assisted his member with a wide variety of matters, including anti-discrimination claims, general protections claims, unpaid wages claims, public service appeals, unfair dismissals and workers' compensation claims. 

Ben also has experience as a paralegal and a clerk in a specialist employment law firm and in the employment team of a large law firm.

In his free time, Ben likes surfing, playing guitar, and reading.
